Herbal Skin Care Products – is Your Man Aging Well?

Instead of getting your guy tube socks or cologne for his birthday, why don’t you go for something that will actually make an impact in his life? If your man is like my man, he has probably never used herbal skin care products in his entire life. That’s shocking to us women I know, but it’s perfectly normal for a man.

In general, men don’t obsess about getting older.

Your man probably doesn’t notice wrinkles or lines when he glances in the mirror after shaving. He has more important things to worry about – like taking care of his family. But, as the nurturer in your man’s life you should take an interest in how he is aging.

How his skin looks is usually a good indicator of how healthy he is. Does he have dark circles under his eyes? Bags too? Well, they are often caused by stress and lack of sleep. Maybe you can persuade him to relax on the weekends and go to bed earlier. Maybe he needs to unload some of his work frustrations and wants someone to listen. You should be that person.

Does he have really dry, rough skin? Men who work outside, exposed to the elements all day, often experience dry skin. Maybe you could buy him new sun-blocking sunglasses for those blazing summer days. Or look into medicinal herbs for skin. You’re a better shopper than he is and you’ll get satisfaction from helping your man.

Your man may not worry about a wrinkle or two, but I bet he wouldn’t mind looking younger. It’s just that he’s probably too embarrassed to buy herbal skin care products on his own. Or ask you for advice on what to buy. Even with the rise of the metrosexual man in today’s world, there still is a stigma about men using an anti-aging (beauty) cream.

Now, you may not know exactly which herbal skin care products will be best for him. You’ve been buying women’s skin creams all these years. Well, skin is skin. The most powerful medicinal herbs for skin work equally as well on both men and women. But there is one point of difference.

Men suffer from skin inflammation and redness more than women. Your man shaves the sensitive skin on his face every day. This causes irritation. So I recommend looking for medicinal herbs for skin that address this problem. One of them is witch hazel – it naturally soothes skin. It’s also good for treating shaving cuts, abrasions, and sunburn.

I dedicate a page on my website to discussing skincare ingredients, the most effective ones and some harmful ones. Buying herbal skin care products for your man may seem risky (will he use them?), but I bet he will appreciate it. It shows that you want the best for him.
